The Toronto Sun recently had an article on age discrimination and how companies prefer to hire younger workers. How true! Many companies–even those who profess they don’t discriminate–preferto hire younger workers only.
Believe me experience and a great work ethic means nothing.
I’ve learned the hard way no matter how well-liked you are by
customers and no matter how much experience you have it seems after
the age of 25 a large number of companies(big and small) won’t hire
you. Just because of your age. Sad but true.
