Okay more rambling from me about mostly(not all) unimportant stuff:
You know it’s time to change careers when after transferring within the same company making more money you spend so much on transit and cabs you haven’t saved anything not making it worth your while to keep this job. AARRGGHH!

Over Easter weekend Country 95.3’s Brian West mentioned last-minute shoppers. Trying to buy stuff just before or as the store doors are closing. Why do people wait until the very last minute? Hasn’t anyone heard such a thing as BEING PREPARED?

Tim Hortons now has the smoothie drink. Nice change for those of us who like but are sick of coffee. Just had way too much lately and I’m a coffee addict. As for the Smoothie I’ve tried all their flavours: Raspberry, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Butter Caramel and Cinnamon. My favourite is French Vanilla. How about you? Now if Timmy’s would just come up with another 100 or so flavours. I’ll gladly be the taste-tester.

One blogsite(don’t recall which one)asked how the leak got to other blogsites where it was reported BEFORE the arrest of The Hell’s Angels in Toronto. Simple. It was probably leaked by someone who doesn’t like that the Hell’s Angels got busted.

QUOTE: “She thinks she’s unlucky. Not at all. When a pretty young hot girl like that initiates conversation with an ugly looking geek like me she’s lucky. Extremely lucky. She’s good luck and I’m lucky because she gave me the time of day. So with her being a good luck charm means she’s lucky. No doubt about it.”-Unknown.

Saw The Grindhouse not long ago. I liked the film though I admit lots of the scenes were over the top to say the least. Easy to get grossed out. Intentional problems was part of the film. Twice the projector stopped. Ends up it wasn’t part of the movie as the other stuff was so the management of The Famous Players after the movie gave one free pass to everyone in attendance. Kind of makes up for the inconvenience. But that’s what I call Customer Service to keep the patrons happy. Other companies could follow suit.

I noticed when the transit terminals are closed Brampton Transit drivers have a key to go inside to the washroom. If patrons can’t stay inside when the place is closed and aren’t allowed to use the washrooms then why are Brampton Transit drivers allowed a key? What’s so special about them?
************************
And speaking of Brampton Transit how lazy are we becoming? When exiting the rear doors you do not push open the door and the driver does not open the door for you. Instead you wait for a green light to come on and as soon as you see the green light you wave causing the door to open. The stupidest idea ever.

Heard a newscast about logos for bloggers to place on their blogsites. A number of different logos so the reader can tell what kind of blogger the person is. Actually I like the idea. So that way those of us such as myself would place a logo on our site showing people we take our writing and blogging seriously. May be a better chance of a newspaper editor coming across the site and seeing some of us bloggers take blogging seriously. Okay somewhat seriously. And a betetr chance to get hired at the publication.

Near my new workplace there’s a Subway . Got in many conversations with the Subway girl. Due to my always having the cold cut combo and wanting something different she suggested I try their steak teriyaki. Keep going back to that location to try it–haven’t yet–and it seems as if she quit the place. Just my(bad)luck. I had a funny feeling I should ask her for her email address before we lost touch.

After a recent schoolbus accident there’s talk of whether schoolbuses should have seatbelts. Yes. And so should local transit and GO Transit as well.

A couple days ago was Joss Stone’s birthday. Mentioned on the Roger, Rick and Marilyn Show(on CHUM-FM)was Joss is dating a guy who’s 20 years older. Marilyn Denis thinks that’s a no-no as it’s a big age difference. If he likes or loves her and if she likes or loves him no harm done. What’s the big deal? Besides better a male and female instead of male and male or female and female going out with each other as far as I’m concerned. If Joss Stone and her guy are happy why are we so opposed to another person’s happiness? I just don’t get it.

How rude! Was on a Mississauga Transit bus seated next to the window. A man obviously from another culture(not going to say which one)was reading the newspaper being very inconsiderate and not caring his elbow kept hitting me. Some cultures need to learn manners.

Due to my present work schedule haven’t had a chance to read much of the newspapers or watch TV. For the last month and a half. Usually I’m monitoring the news on TV, radio and in the papers to find something to blog about and comment on. Without the TV, radio and newspapers I feel like I’m living in a different world not knowing what the hell’s going on.

There was a music group called Better Than Nothing. Whatever happened to them?

You know what I miss? 7-Eleven stores. There’s very few. Not as many as there was when I was a kid. I’ve got a craving for a Slurpee.

On one of my very few days off over the recent holidays saw part of Dateline NBC(have I said how much I miss TV?)was a segment on a woman pretending to be pregnant conning people who thought they were going to adopt a kid. How sad. Only the scum of the earth would ruin a person’s hopes.

With all due respect to the numerous morning radio shows locally I really miss The Humble and Fred Show. A Toronto-area radio station needs to hire Humble and Fred. What the hell’s taking so long?
And that’s it…for this second anyways.
