Having relocated work places didn’t want to bother family members who I know would’ve said “yes” if I asked them if i could stay at their place until i find a new apartment, in town I dropped by a Best Western Hotel.
Though I was going to pay cash for one night the desk clerk informs me even though I’m paying cash I need to pay a security deposit as well as show some I.D.
Didn’t bother. Decided against staying there. NOT DUE TO THE SECURITY DEPOSIT BUT BECAUSE YOU NEED TO SHOW I.D.–EVEN WHEN PAYING CASH(hope they at least ask for I.D. when people pay by credit card). If any hotel wants me to rent a room from them if I’m paying cash(for one night) it shouldn’t be a problem.
You know what? Instead of my just renting a room for one night if I wasn’t given a hard time by this hotel’s policy this location would’ve had me–and my money–for another 3 months.
Best Western you lost my business for life. Had your chance and blew it!
