How I wish all the mainstream media would give us the same story.
For example one morning one radio station during their newscast mentioned Don Imus should be apologizing. But the only clipplayed was of him saying something to the effect the female players of a basketball team are “hot” making me wonder what’s wrong with saying women look hot as I’ve often heard female announcers describing male players in all sports as “hot.”
But reading the MSNBC site it says that Don Imus said they are “nappy-headed hos.”Now though I still think it’s an over-reaction I do somewhat understand why people are mad at Imus.
But why couldn’t that radio station tell us what MSNBC did? Media bias as per always is rampant. Would be nice to get the exact same story from the various media so we, the public can come up with a fair decision on our own as to what we think of this.
