Though not a practising Catholic I do believe in God. Heard of a Novena to St. Claire. Where you pray in front of a lighted candle for 9 days. It said it’s a “very powerful prayer” and also told us to pray whether we believe or not. So I did just that. Prayed in front of a lit candle for 9 days. “Never known to fail” it said.
A week later my prayer(involving relocating to a more convenient work location)was NOT answered. So much for never known to fail.
