Got an email which I figured was too good to be true. Yup! Spam/junk email(whatcha wanna call it)from ConsumerIncentives.net. It says to “click here” to claim my $500 Future Shop Gift card. Not believing them my “investigative team” of Me, Myself and I clicked on there. Filled out info. Name. Address. Phone. Birthdate. Blood type(okay no DNA test but you get the picture). Then it goes to a page where you can subscribe to various magazines/websites. Check off either “yes” or “no.” I checked off “no” to all of them but it won’t let me continue. Instead I get, in a pop-up, the following:
Please select YES to view at least 1 of these great offers. Completion of offer not required to receive the incentive gift.
Well if completion of offer is not required then I should NOT have to check off YES to any of the publications/sites. Nowhere in my email did it say you have to check off at least one “yes.” Remember it says “click here to claim your gift.”
Of course though they claim completion of offer is not a necessity so they add in the fine print at the bottom of your email in a bunch of conditions, #3) complete at least 2 Silver, 2 Gold and 2 Platinum offers;
so if completion of offer isn’t necessary why then must I complete the offer making a completion of the offer? Obviously they’re talking from both sides of their mouth as the saying goes. You either have to complete the offer or you don’t. But they tell you both. Do you smell lies? Do you smell scam? Do you smell CORRUPT? I do.
ATTENTION FUTURE SHOP: I KNOW YOU’RE NOT AWARE WHAT CONSUMERINCENTIVES.NET DOES BUT FOR ME IT IS INCENTIVE ENOUGH TO NOT, NOT NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM…OR YOU EITHER FUTURE SHOP. I’D THINK TWICE ABOUT DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT CUSTOMERS.
so remember folks ConsumerIncentives.net is a scam. If they weren’t they’d send the gift card WITHOUT any strings attached.
