I May Be a Coward But at Least I’m a Live Coward

Yesterday I caught part of the Motts(with husband and wife Paul & Carol Mott) on CFRB. The topic was the recent finding of a dead man on the TTC and no witnesses have come forward. Carol Mott said people are cowards.

I wasn’t there at the time but if i was I sure as hell wouldn’t inform the police of anything. Yeah I know it’s claimed we can call Crime Stoppers “anonymously.”(but after reading the 3 or 4 part series on surveillance cameras and what have-you in the Toronto Sun and how we’re being watched no matter what we do and no matter where we are)makes me wonder if Crime Stoppers truly is anonymous. No mentioon was made of it but I still can’t help but wonder.

As long as you can guarantee me not 100% but 1,000% we don’t ever have to testify I’d gladly give the police any info I had. That’s if I would’ve been there which I wasn’t. I was actually at work. Wouldn’t surprise me if the people who may have information are afraid for their lives.

If they have to testify they see the criminal in court meaning the criminal or suspect sees the witness in court. No matter the length of the sentence the suspect will be let out of prison much sooner than he or she should be and that means then the suspect can go after YOU–the witness to kill you or injure you seriously for turning him in.

If our gutless politicians at all levels would make and enforce the laws to ensure judges hand proper sentences where a criminal stays behind barsd for a long, long, long, long time then and only then would witnesses come forward. None of this “off on good behaviour after a few months or few years.”

So if you go to the police you may end up dead as the guy found on the TTC subway and if you don’t go to the police and keep your mouth shut you’re alive. So which would you rather be? A dead hero or a living coward? As for me I don’t want to die so I’d settle for being a”coward” as Carol Mott says.
