Oh I “love” cellphones. Have no idea what I did or which buttons I pushed. Now my cellphone is in Car Kit Mode. That means I can’t hear my voice-mail or anybody on the phone. Played around with it so much trying to get out of Car Kit. No such luck. Since I can’t find the manual(think it would help if I actually looked for it right?)I called Telus. After about a 5 minute wait of recordings and ‘thanks for your patience’” crap a gentleman answers. I explain the problem. He transfers me to the manufacturer’s direct line, LG(forget what it stands for)and after about a 10 minute wait a woman comes on the line. I explain to her what the problem is and she puts me on hold. 15 minutes of “we know your time is valuable” bullshit(if they really believed that they wouldn’t make us wait 15(or more)minutes.
I was calling from a payphone and someone just showed up wanting to use the phone. Figuring LG obviously won’t be back on line for another 15 minutes didn’t want to keep the man waiting so I hung up. Even if he wasn’t there was thinking of hanging up. Think I’m going to another cellphone company. One which actually helps. In less than 15 minutes.
